<h2>Two ways to make the trip</h2>
<p>Las Galeras is a municipal district on the Samaná peninsula, according to Aerodom. To get there from Las Terrenas there are two separate services, priced differently.</p>
<h3>One-way transfer (or a return on different dates)</h3>

<h3>Private driver for the day</h3>
<p>For a day trip: the driver takes you there, waits and brings you back. The price is agreed by the hour or by the day. See <a href="/en/private-driver-las-terrenas/" rel="noopener">private driver</a>.</p>
<h2>How long does it take?</h2>
<p>We have found no distance or journey time published by a reliable source between Las Terrenas and Las Galeras, so we do not give a figure. For a day trip, ask the driver for an estimate and leave early to make the most of the day.</p>
<h2>What to agree before a day trip</h2>

<p>We have no verified guagua timetables between Las Terrenas and Las Galeras. According to Rough Guides, guaguas have little room for luggage, so they are not a good option for moving accommodation.
